Our 90-minute weekly band programs give students of all ages and skill levels a place to grow through collaboration and live performance. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for the stage, there’s a band for you.

Each program fits into a clear progression, from first-time players to advanced performers, helping students grow as musicians and teammates.

WSM bands don’t just rehearse—they hit the stage. Every group performs at least once per semester, with many playing regularly around Miami. Past venues include the Fillmore, Miami Heat Arena, North Beach Bandshell, and the Arsht Center.

From your first solo to your fifteenth show, you’ll feel the thrill of performing with a band in front of a real audience.

Rising Stars bridges private lessons with real band rehearsals. Students build confidence, rhythm, and teamwork as they take their first steps into live performance.

Rock Juniors introduces young musicians to playing together in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Students explore instruments, build rhythm and listening skills, and grow confidence through creative collaboration.
