Privacy Policy

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information collected on websites, mobile applications, or controlled widgets linked to this privacy statement. It does not cover third-party sites or other collection methods outside our digital platforms.

Last updated: September 15, 2026. Effective: September 25, 2026.

By using our site, you acknowledge that your Personal Information may be transferred to the United States and processed according to the terms of this policy. Privacy protections in the United States may differ from those in your home country.

Information We Collect

Voluntarily Provided Data

When you interact with us, you may voluntarily provide personal information such as your name, address, email, phone number, payment card information, musical experience and instrument details, and demographic information.

Technology-Based Collection

Our site automatically gathers access logs including visit dates, session duration, browser type, and IP addresses.

Cookies and Tracking

We use a limited number of standard technologies, such as cookies, pixels, and local storage, to understand how our website is used and whether our advertising is effective. Trusted technology providers, including Google and our analytics providers, process this information on our behalf. You can configure your browser settings to block or delete these technologies, though this may limit site functionality.

We may also use pixel tags — tiny tracking files embedded in emails — to record when messages are opened and track engagement metrics.

Device Information

Mobile app users may share location data, operating system details, connection information, and device identifiers. You can disable location services through your device settings.

Payment Processing

Payment information is securely transmitted using SSL encryption technology to payment processors in accordance with industry standards.

Online Advertising

We advertise through services such as Google Ads and use measurement tools to understand whether those advertisements lead to inquiries or enrollments. This helps us improve our advertising and use our resources responsibly.

For this limited measurement purpose, our systems may send Google an advertising click identifier, the type and time of a conversion, and a one-way, SHA-256-hashed version of a parent or guardian's email address or phone number. Google uses this protected information to determine whether a WSM conversion followed a Google advertisement; Google does not share it with other advertisers. We do not send student names, birth dates, instruments, lesson details, payment information, or raw contact lists to Google through this process. Learn more about how Google processes information from businesses.

How We Use and Share Your Information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries and complaints, administer contests and surveys, comply with legal requirements, and support business operations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not provide it to unrelated companies so they can market their own products or services to you. WSM remains responsible for the information families entrust to us. We use trusted technology providers to process only the information needed to help us operate our school and website, communicate with families, process payments, maintain business records, analyze site usage, and measure our advertising.

Third parties performing functions such as payment processing, data hosting, and customer support may access personal information as needed to perform their services. In the event that the organization is sold, personal information may transfer to the buyer with contractual protections required.

Your Rights and Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email. Processing takes up to 10 days for email requests and 30 days for other marketing preferences.

You can request to correct, update, or remove your information by emailing info@wynwoodschoolofmusic.com.

Current browser “Do Not Track” features are not uniform, so we do not currently respond to these signals.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not intended for children under 13. While some of our educational content targets young musicians, we do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. Parents or guardians should contact us immediately if a child's data has been collected without consent.

Security

We implement technical, administrative, and physical controls to protect your information. We use SSL encryption for payment processing. However, no security measure is ever perfect or impenetrable.

Changes to This Policy

Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our site and become effective 10 days after publication. We may seek prior consent for material changes where required by law.
