Enrique Pulley

Enrique Pulley is a Miami-born musician, educator, and audio engineer whose background spans jazz, classical, and Afro-Cuban traditions. He is currently pursuing a music business degree at Florida International University and is a graduate of the New World School of the Arts, where he studied classical percussion and jazz drum set while performing in the Big Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and theater pit.
As an active performer, Enrique appears regularly throughout South Florida, including a monthly performance with Neil Bacher & Friends at Live Jazz at the Library. He has played venues such as Lagniappe, Backroom Live at The Fish House, and Pérez Art Museum, and shared the stage with Martin Bejerano, John Fedchock, Tivon Pennicott, Michael Thomas, Jean Caze, and Stephen Scott.
Enrique teaches private lessons in drums, music production, piano, and guitar at Wynwood School of Music, and has also taught through the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts, Barrett School of Music, School of Rock, and Miami Dance and Music Academy. His approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons creative, engaging, and tailored to each student's goals.
He is a recipient of the DownBeat Student Music Award, a National YoungArts Merit Award, and Essentially Ellington recognition.
